These terms govern your use of yip.ac and the YIP Founder Growth Lab program. By applying, creating an account, or otherwise using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
YIP is a cohort-based growth program for early-stage founders: a structured curriculum, mentorship, a live session calendar, and a private founder community. Admission is by application, reviewed on a rolling weekly basis, and is entirely at YIP's discretion. YIP does not take equity in your company in exchange for participation. Nothing on this site is investment advice, a guarantee of funding, or a solicitation to invest.
The community, chat, and comments only work if people can trust them. You agree not to:
We may suspend or delete an account that violates these terms, at our discretion, with or without notice.
You keep ownership of anything you post, chat messages, comments, notes, your profile. By posting where other members or the public can see it (community channels, comments, your public profile), you give YIP a license to display, store, and moderate that content as part of operating the site. Your private lesson notes are never shared or licensed further, they're yours alone.
The curriculum, lessons, videos, and site content are owned by YIP or licensed to us. Access is for your own use as a member, not for redistribution, resale, or use in training other people or systems, without our written permission.
Some live sessions are recorded and made available to members afterward. By attending a live session, you consent to being included in any resulting recording made available to the community.
You can stop using the site at any time. We can suspend or terminate your access for a violation of these terms, non-payment where applicable, or at our discretion for conduct that harms the community, independently of any request you make. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (content ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) continue to apply.
The site and program are provided "as is." We don't guarantee that participation will result in funding, revenue, or any particular business outcome building a company carries real risk that no amount of mentorship removes. We don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, YIP is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or participation in the program. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms as the program evolves. If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, let members know directly. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
